Zine Making: Visual Storytelling Workshop is a hands-on design session where children explore how ideas can be expressed through visual narratives.
Led by Pratiksha Chauhan, this workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of zine-making — an accessible and creative format that combines art, text, and storytelling. Children learn how to structure stories visually using layout, composition, and sequencing.
Participants experiment with page design, cover creation, typography, and image placement, understanding how different elements come together to form a cohesive narrative. Through guided exploration, they develop their own zines based on themes drawn from personal experiences, imagination, and observation.
The workshop introduces core design principles such as visual hierarchy, balance, and flow, helping children think critically about how stories are constructed and communicated.
By the end of the session, each participant creates their own zine — a complete visual story that reflects their ideas, creativity, and perspective.

• Create their own zine from concept to final form
