Story to Sound: Podcasting & Audio Production Workshop (Part 2)

Story to Sound is the second part of the podcasting workshop series, where ideas are transformed into fully produced audio experiences.

Led by Naved Farooqui and Yash Nath Jha, this workshop introduces children to recording, sound design, and audio production. Participants record their scripts, experiment with microphones, and work with audio tools to shape their final output.

Children explore how sound layers — voice, music, and ambience — come together to create mood and meaning. They learn how pacing, clarity, and editing influence listener engagement.

The workshop also introduces the basics of publishing, helping participants understand how audio content is prepared and shared as a complete podcast episode.

This session shifts the focus from storytelling to production, showing that how something sounds is as important as what is being said.

Naved Farooqui is the founder of EarthLab Club and a media strategist focused on storytelling and narrative design. He has worked with The Times of India Group, Brand Capital, and Film Companion.

Yash Nath Jha is a globally recognized musician and sound artist, known for cinematic soundscapes and international collaborations, bringing expertise in music production and audio design.
