The Songwriting Workshop for Children introduces participants to the art of writing songs through creativity, structure, and expression.
Led by Prashant Nawani, this workshop helps children explore how ideas, emotions, and stories can be shaped into lyrics and musical narratives.
Participants begin by understanding why we write songs and how music communicates meaning. They explore elements such as rhythm, syllables, rhyme, and metaphor, learning how these shape the flow and emotion of a song.
Through guided exercises, children write their own lyrics, often working in teams to develop ideas and structure. The workshop encourages experimentation, imagination, and confidence in expressing personal stories through music.
