Game Design and Interactive Controllers is a workshop where children explore both the logic and the physical experience of games.
Participants design simple arcade-style games using Python and Game Design Documents. They then build custom controllers using joysticks, webcam-based inputs, and experimental materials.
The workshop helps children understand how games are structured and how interaction shapes the way they are played.
What children explore:
• Basics of coding using Python
• Game design structure and planning
• Controller design and prototyping
• Interaction between user input and gameplay
