Labs
At EarthLab, labs are not places you enter; they are ways you work. Every idea moves through making. Students engage across design, science, technology, media, storytelling, and music, not as separate disciplines, but as interconnected ways of understanding and creating.
Work here is hands-on and continuous. Ideas are built, tested, taken apart, and rebuilt. Students work with real tools and materials, learning how things actually come together; from circuits and systems to stories, spaces, and sound. The goal is not exposure, but engagement ; to stay with an idea long enough to shape it into something real.
What emerges are outcomes that carry process within them — prototypes, performances, media, installations, and objects. Through membership, this becomes a sustained practice. Students move across disciplines, return to their work, and build over time — developing the ability to think through making, and create with intent.
